The young man in line ahead of me was a few cents short on his beverage. Noticing the shortfall, the change in my pocket was enough to make up the difference.
One day in my devotions, I was reading my Bible when surprisingly, “Return to me,” leapt off the page and into my heart. I paused taken aback, and read on!
Why do we pray? Because prayer is powerful, although at times it seems so overrated. We’re saying without saying a word that we are dependent upon God.
Why am I so easily offended by what people say? What do others know about me that I don’t see? Am I really spring-loaded in the hacked-off position? Can I change?
What does it mean to pray earnestly? Earnest praying is agonizing, stretched-to-the- limit-engaging prayer! Some call it “intelligent (clear-minded) reality praying.” Interested? Read on.
So much about the future seems so uncertain right now. Could our future hold “greater persecution, revival, a great falling away, or great tribulation”? What’s in store for those who prepare? As I hope to show you–victory awaits those who prepare.
Some things are right, because the Bible says they are right; other things are wrong, because the Bible says they are wrong. Some are neither. What then?
